Note: Gashina is the first part of the WARNING triology. The word 가시나 (gashina) has multiple meanings. It's a formal form of the verb "가다" which means "to go, to leave". The other meaning is 가시 났다. 가시 means thorn and 났다 means grew so 가시나 could also mean "thorns grew on my body". It's also an informal word used in gyeongsang-do dialect, meaning "girl". According to Sunmi, she was aiming for the first two meanings.
She compares herself to a flower that is beautiful and looks delicate on the outside, but uses its thorns to protect itself and take revenge. (ʻFlowers’ in Sunmi's lyrics)
